#Twintterview: A Drinking Game

Film parodies plus alcohol. Call us easily pleased, but here at Fringebiscuit, we think that’s a winning combination. Naturally, we caught up with the geniuses behind it, (also known as the company of A Drinking Game) for a #twintterview…

FB: What’s the concept behind A Drinking Game?

ADG: We recreate our favorite movies onstage! We drink, you drink, we drink some more and we all try to get through it together.

FB: Do you guys really get drunk every night?

ADG: I’m not drunk, you’re drunk. What day is it again?

FB: What’s the funniest thing that’s happened during the show?

ADG: Did we mention we drink every night? We are set up for inescapable failure. So much has happened, we just can’t quite remember…

FB: How do you go about choosing films to parody?

ADG: We each picked one movie and then Jello wrestled. Last 5 standing were the winners.

FB: What films are coming up during this run?

ADG: Monty Python and the Holy Grail, The Princess Bride, Back to the Future, Ferris Bueller’s Day Off!

FB: Do audiences in Edinburgh play the game differently to those in NYC ?

ADG: Absolutely! People in Edinburgh laugh with a different dialect.

FB: What else have you seen at the Fringe, and what would you recommend?

ADG: We’ve loved Dickless, Losing Days, Kafka’s Hunger Artist, Older Brother’s Almanac, Spiderman 3, The Room…

A Drinking Game! is on at Laughing Horse @ The Golf Tavern until August 20th.
